Aging, both in space and on the ground has touched
all aspects of NASA. In the U.S., about 65 million people will be over 65
by 2030; by 2015, the "baby boomer" will be over age 65. The changing poppulation
pattern is affecting the provision of health care. There is a shift from
primary to secondary and tertiary prevention. Behavioral factors that affect
